About this Coffee
Our Dharma Espresso Blend offers a full body with a sweet finish. Bright and tart notes of dried cherry are prominent at first sip, while rich notes of cocoa and baking spices are present throughout. This espresso gives a complex tasting experience, which pairs well with milk or as a straight shot of espresso.
Our Dharma Espresso Blend incorporates three distinct coffees from three different parts of the coffee-producing world.
The first component comes from Minas Gerais, Brazil. Grown high in the municipality of Campos Altos, the coffee collected in this region offers a dense, creamy body, plus contributes notes of rich chocolate and a subtle maple syrup sweetness.
The second coffee component comes from Sidamo, Ethiopia. Coffees from Ethiopia offer a noteworthy fruit-like sweetness, and this coffee component is no different. Providing a dried fruit sweetness and fullness in body, this Natural process coffee adds complexity and depth to this espresso.
The third coffee is from the Central Valley of Costa Rica. This coffee is produced by father-son team Alberto and Diego Guardia, who own and operate Sonora Estate. The wild vegetation and diverse ecosystem combine with the nutrient rich volcanic soil to nourish the surrounding coffee trees, and thereby contribute to Sonora Estate’s exceptional coffee. This, combined with their Honey processing method, allows bright and fruity flavor notes to flourish in this espresso.
Although each coffee maintains its own unique qualities, each of them comes together to create one harmonious tasting experience in our Dharma Espresso Blend. Enjoy!
