A deliciously fruity pacamara variety from El Salvador!
We visited El Salvador earlier this year in March, and Nelson’s coffee was on a cupping table with a group of other excellent coffees. His sample, which we had never tried before, was a standout on the table. Due to the proximity, we were fortunate enough to be able to visit his farm, La Mercedes, that same day!
Now five months later we are excited to share with you this delicious lot. Fresh off the grind, the aromatics are intense and candy sweet. In the cup we are tasting everything from fresh pineapple to guava to fruit leather. There is a beautiful tension with this coffee. Though being wash processed, the intensity of fruit suggests a natural processed coffee, but without tasting overly fermented. Sweet, balanced, fruity and delicious! Grab some quick before it is gone!
