The Nobletree Gato Preto blend contains 100% Arabica beans from our Santa Izabel Farm in Brazil and beans from other Colombian farms. This medium roast has overtones of black tea, malt, and plum that go well with dense pastries like doughnuts and beignets and medium cheeses like cheddar and gruyere.
The Gato Preto blend is Rainforest Alliance, and Fair-Trade USA certified. It complies with social, environmental, and economic standards and prioritizes the protection of its farmers, employees, and the environment. Our coffee cherries are cultivated, picked, and processed on our farms using sustainable agronomy. This practice ensures complete transparency and traceability. At our Brooklyn, NY facility, the beans used to produce the Gato Preto blend are precision roasted in small batches.
