About this Coffee

From the Sanglard Family, one of the oldest and most traditional specialty coffee producing families in the State of Minas Gerais. The Sanglard family has with multiple awards dating back over two decades, including 1st place finish in Cup of Excellence!

Terroir, variety and post-harvest care are the main pillars to maintain the quality of the coffees year after year. All coffee lots are dried on suspended terraces, in slow drying, providing balanced body and sweetness to the coffee. The name Sanglard derives from the French term “Chausseur de Sanglier” which means “Boar Hunter”.

Sanglard Coffee is produced with 100% Arabica beans, grown in the Matas de Minas region, at an average altitude of 1,200m, on the banks of Pico do Boné, in Araponga-MG. Since 1988, the Sanglard family has cultivated coffee on the Serra do Boné Farm, being awarded nationally and internationally for the quality of the beans produced.
