About this Coffee
We’re so lucky to have the opportunity to showcase this very special micro-lot from Philippe Sinoyobye once more.
Despite being a tiny plot of land (under one hectare in size), Philippe’s farm is double in size of the average farm in Rwanda and sits at 1,800 metres above sea level in the lush, green hills of Rwanda’s Southern Province.
Philippe and his wife Angelique Muhayimana, manage the whole operation with the cooperation of local workers who lend a helping hand during the coffee harvest. This small piece of land produces around 6,000kg of cherry each year and is processed at the Kabuye Washing Station- well renowned for its dedication when it comes to drying and processing coffee.
