José Carlos dos Reis is a third-generation coffee farmer; his grandfather inherited five hectares of land in 1933. This year, he’s experimenting with exciting new varieties, running ambitious sustainability projects and building houses for his employees. 40% of José’s 116 employees are women, and one day he hopes to pass the baton to his daughter.
