ABOUT THIS COFFEE

The Gichathaini coffee mill stands as one of the three coffee gems managed by the Gikanda Coffee Cooperative on the eastern slopes of Mount Kenya. This place is famous for cranking out some seriously amazing Kenyan specialty coffee. The red volcanic soils, dependable weather, and ample rainfall create the perfect conditions for the coffee beans to thrive. It’s been a hot minute since we last had a taste of Gichathaini, so we’re delighted to have it back on our menu.

Gichathaini offers juicy notes of red cherry and rich chocolate complemented by a smooth body and malic acidity. It’s the ultimate balance of sweet and juicy.
