About this Coffee
The Chavez Brothers blend represents the hard work of a family that is near and dear to us here at Cat & Cloud. Damien Chavez is one of the original members of our Best Friend’s Club direct relationship program and this year we are excited to offer his coffee in tandem with his next-door neighbor and brother Leonel. The BFC is our way of defining how we support “relationship coffee” clearly and concretely, so we can better support our producing partners. We’ve been thrilled to be able to see Damiens coffee quality improve year over year, through funds invested by the BFC.
The Chavez Brothers blend is a delightful amalgam of tropical fruits, grounded with deep sweetness, and a rich creamy finish. Hitting you upfront with passion fruit, cara cara orange, and guava, like the classic island beverage, POG Juice. As it cools the concentrated sweetness of ripe fig arrives, which rolls into creamy almond nougat on the finish. This is a wonderfully complex coffee that you should not miss!
