About this Coffee

Yellow Catuai & Mundo Novo
Creamy Hazelnut, Malt, Stewed Plum, Cocoa

This batch is a Brazilian coffee sourced from the Minas Gerais region.
The farm is located between Mount Mogiana and southern Minas Gerais, and given the excellent location and altitude, these beans have
maintained a quality profile in coffee production.

Fazenda Sítio Vidigal was owned and operated by Aluizio Mello. He was a coffee producer’s son who although passionate about coffee and coffee growing left his small town to follow a career in the city. In 1988 Aluizio realised his dream and returned to his origins at Monte Santo de Minas to establish a small farm or sitio in Portuguese, sadly he has since passed away.

Dedicated to working towards sustainability, Aluizio fertilised with organic waste and used neem oil for pest control. With ongoing support from an agronomist to protect the environment, soil quality is still maintained using lot harvesting and Sítio Vidigal coffee is completely traceable.
