About this Coffee

SGD 38

Originating from the renowned Finca Lerida, the first-ever coffee plantation in Panama, this exceptional Geisha variety has gained global acclaim. Finca Lerida, still celebrated today for producing some of the world’s finest and most coveted coffees, boasts an enchanting ambiance and a captivating history. Its fame is not merely due to its picturesque location and intriguing beginnings; the true secret behind its reputation lies in the quality of its coffee beans.

Lerida Estate encompasses five distinct farms, including Esplendorosa, situated at an elevation of 1500-1600 MASL, from where this particular lot originates. Covering 8 hectares of coffee plants, this 100% Geisha Estate is not just a coffee haven; it is also home to Mario Antonella and a stunning waterfall, accessible exclusively to special visitors.

After the cherries are carefully harvested, they undergo meticulous sorting and pulping processes. Once the outer fruit is removed, the coffee beans are washed and evenly spread on raised beds to dry in the sun for 16 days. Constant movement is ensured to prevent the growth of mold, resulting in a coffee of unparalleled quality and flavor.

In this cup, you’ll find distinct floral tones and yellow peach flavour notes, accompanied by lively acidity from stone fruits. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, with a round finish that carries notes of white peach sweetness.
