Founder/builder/roaster/father of three/husband of one, Aquiles Guerrero was born in a coffee farm in Nicaragua, grew up picking coffee, was a barista by the age of twelve, roaster by eighteen, and attended Capuchino High School, where he met his wife Marissa ( no really, you couldn’t make this stuff up if you tried). His coffee experience is deeply rooted, one that began in San Francisco in the late eighties at his family’s coffee shop Martha and Bros. Coffee.
Flywheel Coffee Roasters is family owned and operated in San Francisco’s historic Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. We’re located directly in front of Golden Gate Park and right next door to Whole Foods.

Fatima Marin Chavez: Store manager who started her coffee journey here at Flywheel Coffee from the bottom, as in no coffee experience, but now she’s here, as in best latte artist you’ve ever seen, bar none!
Lawrence Cheung: Roastmaster. Perhaps our most knowledgeable team member, Lawrence’s attention to detail is unparalleled and it shows in everything he does, specially when it comes to roasting coffee.
Keanu Brady: Keanu is our barista model, everything you’ll want a barista to be, from his outgoing personality, work ethics, customer service, and team player, Keanu has it all.
The Rest of The Team: Christine Javier, John Heroux, Garry Hayman, just to name a few, all our baristas are key to our success and are all greatly appreciated.
