About this Coffee
Located in the highlands of the Sierra Madres de Chiapas, is the El Triunfo Biospere Reserve. One of the few activities allowed in this rare and valuable santuary is organic farming. All coffee is shade grown and organic certified. Biological corridors have been created to facilitae bird and land anaimal migration. The COOP has worked closely with Heifer International to provice livestock to their members. Other projects include working with Grounds For Health to develop a program of early detection and treatment of cervical cancer for women of the region. Bridgeport Coffee has been buying coffee from CESMACH for 15 years. Even during these challeging times of changing climate, this group of coffee farmers produce a high quality, pleasant, easy to drink cup year after year. The 21/22 harvest has just arrived and they’ve done it again.
